Dear Dope Awesome Young Person reading this,
Be confident enough to walk away for YOURSELF; yet strong
enough to stand, and fight for SOMEONE ELSE!
What that means is this: if someone is attacking you with
their words, so long as you know exactly who you are as an individual, you DO
NOT have to respond; however, let’s say there is a schoolmate who maybe isn’t
as brave as you are - it is more than okay to stick up for them.
In ANY
situation, ALWAYS report ALL forms of bullying/abuse to your teachers, parents,
AND office administrators.
NO ONE is exempt from being bullied (not even the so-called “cool
kids”) so you MUST decide RIGHT NOW, what type of treatment you WILL and WILL
NOT accept from your peers.
It doesn’t matter who you are, what you look like, or where
you come from - Bullies do not discriminate! ANYTHING can make you a target for
someone who hasn’t been taught to LOVE themselves, or how to RESPECT other
people… Rule of thumb: always LOVE, and RESPECT yourself (as well as others)!
How YOU feel about YOU (despite what another person says, or
thinks) is all that should EVER matter.
Tavy
and i will add...bullying can happen...at any age.
